She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ponderlik and Emily Ponderlik (Vitaksa); and her sisters, LaVergne Cegelsk (Ronald) and Marion Barner (Coleman). She is survived by: her sibling's children, Bev Schiavone (Tony), Brad Cegelsk, Cole Barner (Karen), Dr. Connie L. Barner and Craig Barner (Edy). She is also survived by her family, friends, and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Sheldon-Goglin-Kaminski Funeral Home (5935 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634). A prayer will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Ferdinand Church (3101 N Mason Ave, Chicago, IL 60634).
