She was predeceased by : her husband Stephen; her parents, Joseph Kovats and Josephine Kovats (Sagmeister); and her siblings, Rose Marks (late Ed), Irma Wells (late Ed), Matt Kovats and Josephine Petti (late Rudy).

She is survived by : her children, Michael (Janis), Stephen (Melissa), Joseph (Kathy) and Gina Henderson (Stephen); her grandchildren, Eric Eckert, Jake Eckert (Jen), Morgan Kelly (Kevin), Bill Pappas (Niki) and Tom Pappas (Jennifer); and her great grandchildren, River Eckert, Emmett Kelly, Eli, Grace Pappas, Khloe and Kira Pappas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church (10731 W 131st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
