The memory of Maryln P. Homan of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 19, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Maryln may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maryln touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald R. Homan Sr.; and her close friend Stanley Kogut. She is also survived by her five children, her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home (6620 W Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638). A prayer will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church (6612 W 54th St, Chicago, IL 60638). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at the 87th Street & S. Hamlin Avenue Evergreen Park (S Hamlin Ave & W 87th St, Worth Township, IL 60652).
