He is survived by: his wife Apple L. Dickerson; his children, Mary Helen Gavin of Columbus, MS, Wayne Dickerson of Pheba, MS and Helen Marie Ashford of Pheba, MS; his siblings, Mattie Dickerson of Chicago, IL, Hattie Dickerson of Chicago, IL and Charlie Dickerson of Chicago, IL; and his daughter-in-law Jacqueline D. Lowery. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
