Miriam Bader wrote a sympathy message

“From the time I was a child, I always knew Nancy as Aunt Nancy. She had a big influence on my childhood. Aunt Nancy's house was the one we kids on the block always chose to go to. I remember her sitting in her kitchen drinking a coke (and could she have been smoking a cigarette?). Anyway, she was always welcoming to the neighborhood kids and she kept an eye on us. Aunt Nancy was always there for me as I was growing up. So loving and caring. And she was a wonderful friend to my mother, DV.”
