It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ofelia Barbosa of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 31, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter J. Luz; her godson Luis Barbosa; her parents, Delfino Cabrera and Tomasa Cabrera; and her brother Merced.

She is survived by: her husband Juan Barbosa; her children, Rosa, Juana, Theresa (Sham) and Bernabe Barbosa; and her godchildren, Humberto, Juan Campos, Margarita Barbosa, Andy, Heather Barbosa, Henry and Teresita Barbosa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church as a Memorial for Ofelia.
