With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Olga Sadowyj (Chicago, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her sibling Jaroslaw Wasylyszyn (Maria); and her husband Jacob. She is survived by : her children, Anna Hirota (Don), Peter Sadowyj (Diana Sadowyj-Konrad) and Oksana LaSalvia (Frank); her grandchildren, George, Alex (Larissa), Caitlin Hirota, Jacob Sadowyj, Luke, Vincent, Nicholas and Matthew LaSalvia; her great grandchild Xander Hirota; her nieces, Margaret and Anna Wasylyszyn; and her nephew Mark (Daniela Pylypczak).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A wake was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 4:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral (835 N Oakley Blvd, Chicago, IL 60622).
