He is survived by: his children, Barbara Callahan (Tom), John, Carolyn Ramirez (Humberto), Patricia, Pamela Nordwall (David), Nancy and Robert; his grandchildren, Emily (Samuel), Kate, Thomas, Monica, Charlotte, Martin, Patrick and Pamela; his great grandchild Kezden; and his brothers, Peter (late Jeanine), Michael (Eileen) and William (Teresa).
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gibbons Family Funeral Home (5917 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60634). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Genevieve Church (4835 W Altgeld St, Chicago, IL 60639).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to WTTW or Mercy Home.
