He is survived by: his parents, Joseph S. and Catherine; his spouse Nancy; his children, Mary-Lisa (Michael Roberts), Robert, Mary Clare, William (Carrie), John (Kristi) and Matthew; his grandchildren, Francesca Lenore Sullivan, Caitlin Elizabeth Sullivan, Hugo Padraig Alaric Sullivan, Ryan Noble Sullivan, Buehrle, Dagney, Berlioz and Rudder; and his siblings, Mary Kay Joyce (Edward) and Connie Oswald.
In lieu of flowers, the Sullivan Family encourages contributions to support and honor his commitment to medical education through the Patrick J. Sullivan, M.D. Scholarship at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.
