It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Edward Specht in Chicago, Illinois, born in Butte, Nebraska, who passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Paul Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Paul Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Bacigalupo Specht; and his children, Paul A. Specht of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Stephen W. Specht of Covington, TN and Linda S. Ayers of Jackson, TN.. He is survived by: his children, Daniel L. Specht (Linda) of Bartlett, TN and Sherrie S. Baskin (Terry) of Mason, TN; and his brother Norm Specht of Millington, TN. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren, fourteen grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren, and nineteen great-great-grandchildren.
