He is survived by: his children, Julia Gray (Will) of Batavia, Marianne Holmer of Chicago and Nathan Holmer (Leah) of Oswego; his grandchildren, Collin Gray and Signe Gray; and his siblings, Richard Holmer (Susan) and Mary Essley (Roger). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
