He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joseph Bloss, Velma Franke, Mary Mosconi and Sophie Elzenbeck. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his sons, Richard (Laura) and Jonathan (Anna); his grandchildren, Joseph, James, Emily, Julia and Nicky; and his sibling's children, Harlow Waite of Poughkeepsie, NY and Patrica Stafford of Hampstead, NC.

He was a kind and generous person making donations to countless charitable organizations.
