It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Martinez Sr. of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bauverio Martinez and Josephine Diaz; his former wife Sally E. Guanjuato; and his sister Josephine Martinez. He is survived by: his significant other Grisel Colon-Martinez; his children, Eva Marie Martinez and Richard Daniel Martinez Jr.; his granddaughter Eternity Rose Velazquez; his sister Alice Pantoja (late Ziggy); his stepdaughters, Kina and Palmira Gonzalez; and his nephews, Chris and Mark Pantoja.
