Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Chavez; his mother Virginia Romo; and his son Alfonso "Poncho" Romo. He is survived by: his children, Richard "Gordo" (Nina), Loretta "Dingie" (Vince) and Maria (Robert). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
