He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Anna Whelan, John Whelan and Margot Greenlee; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Harvey and Olivia Harvey; his sister Janet Plasterer; his former wife Sue Hungerford; and his parents, Margaret Ellen Whelan and Robert C Whelan Sr..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Donnellan Family Funeral Services (10045 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077).
