He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances "Fran"; his children, Robyn Rutherford (Craig), Kristen Pontarelli (Michael), David Dennewitz (Susan), Frances Lominack (William), Jill Calderon (Vicente), Daniel Dennewitz (Jill), Margaret Rausa (Francisco), Andrew, Sarah Barabe (John) and Mary Dennewitz (Amanda); his grandchildren, Charlie, Thomas, Madelyn, Emily Rutherford, Olivia Sciackitano (Dominic), Jack, Michael Pontarelli, Emma, Claire, Margaret, David Dennewitz, Jake, Grace, Nathan, Luke Lominack, Alex, Francesca, Fernando, Vincent, Nicholas, Santiago Calderon, Isabel, Joshua, Benjamin Dennewitz, Julia, Gabriella, Eva Rausa, Samuel, Gabriel, Sophia, Amelia Barabe, Adeline and Scarlett Dennewitz; his siblings, Walter Dennewitz (Cindy), Candice and Gloria Suski; and his cousin Barbara Arendt. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rago Brothers Funeral Home (7751 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60634). A prayer will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the St. Francis Borgia Church (8033 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Borgia Roman Catholic Church (8033 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634).
