He was predeceased by: his wife Sue; and his father David. He is survived by: his mother Jacqueline; his siblings, Jolene and Paul; his children, Suwannee (Shawn), Rudy (Tessa) and Phoebe; his grandchildren, Tristen and Skye; and his niece Emma.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels Northeastern Illinois, Greater Chicago Food Depository, or a favorite charity.
