We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2025, at the age of 35, Shamire Jackson (Chicago, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shamire may no longer walk beside us, their memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shamire touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In their absence, their spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins Family Funeral Home (244 E 138th St, Chicago, IL 60827). A wake will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Life Covenant Church Southeast (1021 E 78th St, Chicago, IL 60619). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
