We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2025, at the age of 33, Stephanie Cano of Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Stephanie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Stephanie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Martina Cano and Ricardo Cano; her siblings, Evelyn, Yanin and Boris Cano; her husband Francisco Hernandez; and her children, Tiffany, Elias, Castiel, Lukas and Julius.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Elms Funeral Home (7600 W Grand Ave, Elmwood Park, IL 60707). A prayer was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (1101 23rd Ave, Melrose Park, IL 60160).
