He is survived by: his wife Carmelita Bombeck; his children, Joseph Karacic (Barbara), Roseanne Christman (Lewis) and Elaine Donovan; his daughter-in-law Barbara Jo Karacic; his stepchildren, Tom Bombeck (Deirdre), Audrey Massel (Bruce) and Christopher Bombeck (Melissa); his grandchildren, Steven Karacic (Sarah), Christopher Karacic (Paula), Michael Karacic (Grace), Jack Donovan (Nila), Kara Donovan (Max), Maggie Donovan, Luke Donovan, Anne Donovan, Troy Christman, Alexandra Christman and Brandon Hornsby; his great grandchildren, Christian Karacic and Lily Donovan; and also Thomas Bombeck.
