Timothy Joseph Finnegan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy Joseph Finnegan (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Finnegan and Jim Finnegan; and his brothers, John and Michael. He is survived by: his children, Lieutenant Timothy, F. D. (Colleen), Nolan (Buse) and Marikate Cassidy (Cullen); his wife Cris; his grandchildren, Nellie and Eamonn; and his siblings, Roseann LeFevour (Terry), Robert (Laura) and Tom (Dorie). He is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Malec & Sons Funeral Home (6000 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1747 Lake Ave, Wilmette, IL 60091).
