He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Nabor Vargas Nuno and Ramona Ramos; and his siblings, Octavio Vargas (Esperanza), Ignacio Vargas and Esperanza Simanis (late Richard).
He is survived by: his close friend Emilia Vargas; his children, Margot Ramos (Mauro), Irene Armas (Carlos) and Anthony Vargas (Elizette); his grandchildren, Monica Ramos, Mia Ramos, Mauro Ramos, Miranda Ramos, Carlos Adrian Armas, Andres Armas, Adan Anthony Vargas, Evan Emiliano Vargas, Michael Anthony Vargas, Veronica Vargas and Victoria Rose; and his siblings, Romeo Vargas (late Guadalupe), Julieta Morales (Adolfo), Jose Luis Vargas and Gina Herrera (Jose).
