It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Eckhoff of Chillicothe, Illinois, born in Lee, Illinois, who passed away on July 27, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Victor and Mary Esther Sweney (Homer); her spouse Milford "Mel" Eckhoff; and her siblings, Virginia Effland, Marion Gray and H. James Sweney.

She is survived by: her son David Eckhoff; her granddaughters, Alexis and Emily Eckhoff; and her stepgrandson Cody Lewis.
