It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Gibson of Chillicothe, Illinois, born in Petersburg, Tennessee, who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harper Gibson and Grace Gibson (Whorley); and his sons, Charles Robert and Larry Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Wilson; and his grandchildren, Jared, Hailey, Jordan and Isaiah.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
