He was predeceased by: his father John Jr. "Jack" Cassidy; his nephew Michael; his parents-in-law, Jim and Phyllis Rosenquist; and his brother-in-law Karl Rosenquist.
He is survived by: his mother Helen Cassidy (Fagan) of Peoria; his wife Nancie Rosenquist of Chillicothe; and his siblings, Katie O'Malley (Brian) of Shorewood, Wisc, John Cassidy (Teresa) of Peoria, Tim Cassidy (Angie) of Peoria, Casey Bobbitt (Greg) of Bloomington, Mary Burns (Brian) of Springfield, Drew Cassidy (Ellen) of Peoria, Colleen Waller (Jim Cassidy) of Peoria, Park (Cohen Foundation), Adams Street and Suite. He is also survived by 28 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews.
