He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Pope and Gladys Pope (Nussman); and his wife Lucille Costa. He is survived by: his sons, David Pope (Mary) of Pekin, Daniel Pope (Helen) of Chillicothe and Steven Pope (Rose) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Brandon Pope, Mollie Julius, Ben Pope and Bryan Pope; his great grandchild Henry Julius; and his siblings, Catherine Dissler of Glen Carbon, IL, John Donald Pope of Florissant, MO, Linda Virgil (George) of Decatur, IL, Audrey Moore (Bill) of Springfield, IL and Beverly Stevenson (Weldon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
