She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Ayersman and Berniece Ayersman (Crum). She is survived by: her husband Richard Layne; her son Troy Layne (Meridith) of Morrison, IL; her grandchildren, Muira and Lilah; her siblings, Russell Ayersman, Karla Torres and Kim Vallese; and her siblings' children, Rachel Torres, Alaia, Breanna Vallese and Alex Torres.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
