It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorrita Hoye of Chillicothe, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert E. Hakes and Doris M. Hakes (Simmons). She is survived by: her children, Michelene Hurley (Rick) of Dodge City, KS, Bill Hoye of Chillicothe and Donna Sarver (Barry) of Chillicothe; her grandchild Jordan Sarver (Sasha); and her sisters, Sandra Lootens of Buda, IL and Donelda Shaffer of Arizona. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
