He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest W. Champion and Esther Mae Champion (Parrott); and his stepfather Robert Rankin. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Blumenshine of Chillicothe; his children, Kristi Sue Davis (Dan) of Monument, CO, Jill Ann Weck (John) of Wheaton, IL and Matthew Wayne Champion (Amanda) of Parkland, FL; his grandchildren, Madison Davis, Cameron Davis, Aiden Weck, Connor Weck, Gavin Weck and Brady Weck; and his brother Alan Champion (Roxy) of Wyoming. He is also survived by his wife, spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association.
