It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Balzer (Chillicothe, Illinois), born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on April 11, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Balzer and Mae E. Balzer (O'Neil); and his siblings, Jerry, Leo, Edward, Mike, Maryanne Parker and Joanne Mizlo.
He is survived by: his children, Matthew Balzer (Karen) of Pleasant Valley, IA, Nathan Balzer (Kate) of Canonsburg, PA and Jeannie Walquist; his grandchildren, Nick, Erin, Sydney, Sean Balzer, Josh and Jonathan Walquist; and his sister Barb Maday of Tucson, AZ..
