We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2020, at the age of 94, Martha N. Sherwood of Chillicothe, Illinois, born in Oelwein, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George L. Clark and Julia Clark (Robinson); her spouse Russell A. Sherwood; and her siblings, Irene Cole, Margaret Mason, Julia Louise Dowd and George T. Clark.

She is survived by: her children, Melanie Ann Vancil (Lloyd) of Lebanon, OR, George Russell Sherwood (Suzi) of Burlington, KY, Julia Hyde (Joe) of Princeville, IL and Laura Paskey (Mark) of Liberty Township, OH; her grandchildren, Jennifer Vancil, Scott Vancil (Kat), Heather Becker (Sean), Katherine Mullen, Martha Randolph (Nicholas), Nathaniel Hyde (Valerie) and Sarah Winborn (Dayton); her great grandchildren, Gavin, Jacob Hyde, Henry and Abigail Winborn; and her sister Joan Provow of Pleasant Hill, IA..
