He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Harper and Zelma Harper (Fritz); and his spouse Creta J. Schnarr. He is survived by: his children, Christy Harper of Atlanta, GA and Jeffrey Harper (Debbie) of Peoria, IL; and his grandchildren, Katy (Cassie Harper), Jason Sepich, Meagan Amerson (Rusty) and Barry Harper. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Peoria Casting Club.
