He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Sturgeon and Pernia Sturgeon; his former wife Carol; and his brother William "Bill" Sturgeon. He is survived by: his wife Susan Sturgeon (Lewis) of Chillicothe; his sons, Stephen Sturgeon (Brenda) of Magnolia and Stuart Sturgeon (Michelle) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Crystal Hill (Ben), Joshua Sturgeon, Jessa Stevens (Peter), Anton Sturgeon (Bethany) and Marina Sturgeon; and his sisters, Barbara Herridge of Lacon and Marge Neff of Lacon.
