He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Lopeman; and his son Jeremy. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his mother Floy Lopeman; his siblings, Jim Wright (Starr), Steve Lopeman (Cheryl) and Diane Shawgo (Bob); his children, Jason Lopeman (Dawn), Shane Lopeman (Genny), Corey Lopeman (Katie), Blake Lopeman (Megan), David Roger (Aneela), Paul Roger (Gabby) and Jennifer Porras (Josh); and his grandchildren, Kadence, Layton, Amberleigh Lopeman, Jocelyn, Jaelyn, Josue Porras, Kiran and Amara Roger.
