It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Lucas of Chillicothe, Illinois, born in Hampton, Illinois, who passed away on June 5, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry TerVeen and Ida Blanche TerVeen (Crotz); and her sister Georgia May Parsons. She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Lucas Jr.; her children, Cheryl Beddow (Denny) of Chillicothe, Rodney Lucas (Vickie) of Chillicothe and Judy Stenger (Jerry) of Missouri; and her grandchildren, Keli Baker, Pody Goines, Kasey Baker (Heather), Kami Henriques (Steven), Brian Hamm, Beau Smith, Rachel Lucas, Rod Lucas (Jennifer), Sarah Crook (Dave) and Phillip Lucas (Jen). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be made in her honor to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, as she was a breast cancer survivor, or to the American Lung Association.
