She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert "Duck" and Mildred Franklin (Holmes); her husband James "Cork" Mitchell; her son James "Dickie" Mitchell; her granddaughter Ashley Melbar; and her sisters, Wilma Laird and Mabel Sharp.
She is survived by : her grandchildren, James Derek Mitchell (Charity) of Clay City and Kyle Richard Mitchell (Barbara) of Ohio; her brother Richard Earl Franklin of Odessa; and her great grandchildren, Riley Melbar, Graham Mitchell, Oliver Mitchell and Theodore Mitchell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
