It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Lee Jones of Clay City, Illinois, born in Olney, Illinois, who passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harrison Jones and Rosa (Bunting); his siblings, Harrison Jones, Jr., Alice Jones, Kendall Jones, Juanita Slunaker and Michael Jones; his brothers-in-law, Chuck Chaffin and Herb Chaffin; and his grandson Lucas Heckler.
He is survived by : his wife June Chaffin; his children, Anthony "Tony" Jones of West Salem and Becky Miller (Von) of Olney; his grandchildren, Morgan Miller, Anna Weber (Eric), Emily Troyer (Travis) and Lauren Lomas; his great grandchildren, Conner, Hank, Guage, Frankie, Brynn, Reese, Lucy, Stella and Peyton; his siblings, Tim Jones, Janice Kern and Loretta Mitchell; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Chaffin, Carmen Green-Chaffin, Sandra Chaffin and Janet Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Graveside Service will be private for family members.
