She was predeceased by : her parents, Claude Alwood and Lela Lois Alwood (Lane); her husband John D. "J. D."; her son John Jason Woolum; her grandson Conner Epting; and her brother Kevin Alwood.

She is survived by : her children, Tina Woolum of Clinton, IL and Brian Woolum of Clinton, IL; and her grandchildren, Sean Tombaugh, Deztiny Woolum, Breanna Woolum and Trintin Mosby.
