With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Garland Strohl of Clinton, Illinois, born in Shelbyville, Illinois, who passed away on June 18, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Strohl and Sylvia Strohl (Prosser); his son Kennth Strohl of Downs; and his granddaughter Megan Leigh Kissel of Lincoln. He is survived by: his wife Daris Strohl of Clinton; his daughters, Janet Webb (Wayne) of Clinton and Darla Kissel (Tom) of Lincoln; his daughter-in-law Vickie Strohl of Downs; his grandsons, Scott Strohl (Lisa), Brian Strohl (Sambath) of Beaverton, OR and Tyler "T. J."; his stepgranddaughters, Darcie Callison (Jared) and Kristy Semanik; his great grandchildren, Logan, Colton and Caden; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Baylor Callison, Bill Semanik and Samantha Nebergall (Austin McHaffey).
