We bid farewell to Gwendolyn Vacca of Coal City, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 16, 2025 at the age of 64. Gwendolyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Gwendolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gwendolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Linda Shain. She is survived by: her husband David M. Vacca; her daughter Jordyn Vacca; her father Cleve Shain; and her siblings, Randy Shain (Cindy), Jeff Shain and Melinda Solis (Rey). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ferrari Funeral Services (1044 Ferrari Dr, Coal City, IL 60416).
