With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katie Munchalfen of Coal City, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on January 14, 2024 at the age of 41. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Katie Munchalfen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her sister Danielle Munchalfen; and her grandparents, John, Marilyn Cerovac, Arnold and Mary Munchalfen.

She is survived by : her parents, Lori Pichon (John) and William Munchalfen (Fern Jadron); her siblings, Nicholas Munchalfen (Patti) and Tricia Munchalfen; her stepfather Dale Gilbertson; and her close friends, Roger, Hannah Flint, Andy Vota and Carli McConaughy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made as gifts in Katie's name to the family for their distribution.
