It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Friddle of Coal City, Illinois, born in Wilmington, Illinois, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Friddle and Camellia Friddle; his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Dorothy Bannon; and his brothers-in-law, Ken "Butch" Bannon, Ray "Skip" Bannon, Will Bannon and Robert "Matt" Foland.

He is survived by : his wife Diane Friddle; his children, Rick Friddle (Suzi) of Braidwood, Mike Friddle (Joy) of Coal City, Scott Friddle (Deanne) of Coal City, Kristi Hausman (Rob) of Coal City and Ken "Rooster" Bannon; and his siblings, Eleanor Valek (Bob) of Columbus, IN, Bill Friddle (Lydia) of Gardner, Mary Gibson (Bob) of Braidwood and Cammy Foland of Wilmington. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
