He is survived by : his wife Rebecca Wilcock (Becky) of Ottawa, IL; his children, Charley Wilcock (McKibben Noel), David (Karin Redelberger), James (April Wilcock), Richard Wilcock (Amber Vanderlinden), Katherine (Katy), Aaron Thompson (Brittany) of Champaign, IL and Garret Johnson of Morris, IL; his siblings, John David Wilcock, Paul Wilcock, Gary Wilcock and Liz Smith; and his grandchildren, Ethan Redelberger, Jackson Wilcock, Evander Wilcock, Michael Redelberger, Olivia Wilcock, Adia Wilcock, Alex Hawthorne, Nova Noel, Juno Noel, Orla Johnson, Zeke Noel, Henry Thompson and Samuel Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family request preferred memorials in Sam's memory may be made as gifts to the American Red Cross.
