The passing of Shirley A. Marsaglia of Coal City, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 98. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Styber and Antoinette Styber (Cerny); her siblings, Charles Styber, Jr. and Helen McDermott; and her brother-in-law Alex McDermott.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Klepk (Joe), Mark Marsaglia (Christie) and Michael Marsaglia (Mary); her grandchildren, Kathryn Shaw (Coy), Kathleen Otzel (Matthew), Matthew Marsaglia (Kristen), Emily Marsaglia, Nicholas Marsaglia and Jacob Klepk (Emily); her great grandchildren, Joshua Bradford, Brady Shaw, Bella Shaw, Haley Klepk, Matilda Otzel, Max Otzel, Morganne Otzel, Eliana Marsaglia and Zoe Marsaglia; her niece Karen Campbell; and her great-nephews, Jeff and Greg Campbell. She is also survived by numerous cousins, and the many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (195 S Kankakee St, Coal City, IL 60416). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorials to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, or Assumption Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
