William Hicks Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2020, at the age of 90, William Hicks of Coal City, Illinois, born in Mousie, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Adam Hicks and Mary Hicks (Mullins); his daughter Susan Elizabeth; and his siblings, Albert Tom and Margaret Lee.

He is survived by : his wife Charlene; his children, Terry Hicks (Debora) of Dayton, Nella Hill (Rick) of Beavercreek, Robert Hicks (Kimberly) of New Lebanon and Jennifer Shaw (Jeremy) of Rock Island, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Terry J. Hicks (Nikki), Susan Carol Hardy, Amy Terrell (Ted), Wendy Ballard (Mark), Lindsey Elms (William), Tiffany Fogle, Crystal Crane (Christopher), Kathleen Cooper (Ray), Carolyn Hicks, Alex Shaw and Peter Shaw. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Bill's memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice.
