It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lawrence Monk of Coffeen, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 89, on August 15, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis H. Monk and Myrtle Monk (Gravely); his wife Anita Lee Childers; and his children, Lawrence Monk, Jr. and Kimberly Ann Monk.
He is survived by: his daughters, Benita Biella (Wayne) of Crown Point, IN and Debbie Durbin (Gary) of Coffeen, IL; his grandchildren, Rob Biella (Brianne), Adam Biella (Jessica), Maegan Durbin, Amber Battistella (Joe) and Sean Durbin (Kaitlin); and his brother Frank Monk of Delaware. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
We will be following COVID-19 CDC Guidelines with the use of masks and social distancing.
Memorials maybe given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
