It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Starnes (Coffeen, Illinois), born in Sorento, Illinois, who passed away on March 27, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Starnes and Mae Starnes (Mollett); and his son Steve Starnes. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Starnes of Coffeen, IL; his children, Paula VanHekken (Kenneth) of Belding, MI, Kelly Starnes of Coffeen, IL, Dennis Starnes (Marsha) of Punta Gorda, FL and Maureen Starnes (Ron Richards) of Shelbyville, IN; and his siblings, Duane Starnes (Virginia) of Millersburg, IL, Betty Haberer (William) of Millersburg, IL and Judy Fitzgerald (Mack) of Chatttanooga, TN.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
