With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Compton of Coffeen, Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Sutley and Ola Lee Gordman; her husband Ron Compton; and her son-in-law Randy Alexander. She is survived by: her children, Linda Penrod (Rich) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Floyd Wisely (Mardi) of Campbell Hill, IL, Ginger Alexander of Coffeen, IL, Brandy Compton of Coffeen, IL and Judy Mitchell (Lynne) of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Scott Huber, Mark Pahlman, Damon Alexander, Jaime Brown, Cody Alexander, Rusti Penrod and Kayla Penrod; and her siblings, Jena Alexander, Gail Davis, Joyce Spann and Jewell Alred. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
