James F. Counts Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Counts and Anna Sue Counts (Hendrix); his brothers, John Howard Counts, William Wesley Counts and Donald Woodrow Counts; his grandson Timothy Andrew Hasamear; his brother-in-law Jack Hill; his nephew Buzz Thompson; and his nieces, Danyelle Heinz, Nicole Laux and Cadence Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Counts (Outland); his children, Angela Hasamear (Counts) and James R. Counts (Brody); his granddaughter Taylor Spiroff (Drew); his great grandchildren, Avery Hay and Everly Spiroff; and his siblings, Nina Hill, Jerry Counts and Dale Counts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Herr Funeral Home & Cremation Services (501 W Main St, Collinsville, IL 62234). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
