It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene M. Goatey of Columbia, Illinois, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband George L. Goatey; her parents, Rudolph Childers and Irene Childers; and her sisters, Willie Edwards and Elizabeth Johnson.

She is survived by : her son Robin Goatey (Teresa) of Sandoval, IL.; her granddaughters, Teri Ellerbrake (Trevor) of Lebanon, IL and Jackie Wolanski (Christian) of Swansborro; and her great grandchildren, Weston Ellerbrake, Draven Ellerbrake and Aubrie Wolanski.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
